About the event
Siouxland GO’s Innovation Market is an annual event designed to spark entrepreneurship and support local business ideas. This event provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs in Siouxland to showcase their innovative ideas, gain valuable exposure, and compete for the chance to secure funding.
How It Works:
Step 1: Idea Submissions & Public Voting
Submit your business idea by April 30 and attend Innovation Market (May 14, 2026) at Jackson St. Brewing – East location.
All submissions will be displayed anonymously.
Attendees will receive a ballot to vote for the top 3 ideas.
Step 2: Business Plan Development
The 3 finalists must submit a 5-page business plan by Thursday, June 4, 2026 using this form.
This plan will guide their final pitch presentation.
Step 3: Final Pitch & Winner Selection
Finalists will pitch their ideas to Siouxland GO members and event sponsors on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at The Warehouse (413 Floyd Blvd., Sioux City, IA).
Attendees will vote to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Eligibility Requirements:
Your business must be a for-profit entity.
Your business/idea must be within a 50-mile radius of Sioux City, IA.
Your business/idea must have launched after May 15, 2023.
You must be 18 years of age or older.
